Paving the way forward! THE MARIGOLD STORY!

Having a decade of experience from starting off as a drilling fluid engineer at Newpark Inc. to my endeavor in the world of business is in fact a sort of roller coaster ride. As is such that starting off from a very low capital investment is probably the most nightmarish thing that one can experience in the early years of building a business that too without any support as such. I have always been a dreamer! As an individual with a dream to living this precious life at own terms and building something that don't just seek for something rather having a distinct passion for providing bread and butter to several others in need is something that has always been in my sub senses! Almighty was kind enough for having given me the opportunity to build on dreams and paving a way forward. To live a life with dignity.

The story of 'The Marigold Grand' is perhaps my third project as I had to drop the layer chicken farm project named 'Assam Agro Farms & Products' which idea was conceived by me on February 2022; due to some unfavorable circumstances.

So, here is brief intro of the new project taking shape.

Welcome, Hotel "The Marigold Grand" is my third business entity from our group Kamrup Hospitalities Pvt Ltd owned by Sri Spondon Phukan and Sri Uddyam Phukan.

The Marigold Grand came into being due to our desire to build a homely yet cozy affordable stay at jorhat, Assam with a deep emphasis on hygiene, affordability and quality in house food experience for our guests.

Our vision is to create a circular and sustaining hospitality house in jorhat. Moving further we will draw on traditional assamese/indian practices and knowledge complimented with modern approaches and amenities to increase efficiency and comfort. We also aim to provide 70 percentage of vegetables to our in house kitchen from our self grown vegetables directly from our own small farm articulated in December 2023, located in dhekorgorah, jorhat.

I derive great strength from my mother's blessing especially during times of great distress. Whenever she says I have trust in you, keep working; it fills me with joy and makes me work harder to build a future for ourselves as well as other people associated with us throughout our journey. This is the era to make it happen and together we will.
I can clearly see that the coming years will be about our collective resolve of establishing the road map that will guide our trajectory as a group for the next 100 years and make the group embodiment of prosperity, all round growth and a regional leader in the field of hospitality.
